1. Introduction

This policy explains how Delpa App collects, uses, stores, displays and otherwise processes personal data of users of the platform.

Delpa App is intended for recording sports activity, managing matches, displaying results, statistics, ratings, rating history, participation in leagues and tournaments, following players and using other related features within the portal.

This policy applies together with the Terms of Use and other notices displayed within the platform.

3. What data we process

Depending on how the service is used, we may process the following categories of data:

• participation in leagues, standings, rounds, memberships and related records,
• participation in tournaments, brackets, progression, match order and placements,
• comments, tags, descriptions and other sports-related additions to matches.

• match or activity images,
• comments, text, descriptions and other content published by the user.

3.5 Portal usage and technical data

• IP address, login time and security logs,
• basic technical data about device, browser and session,
• events related to security, errors or abuse prevention,
• notifications, feed activity and portal interactions.

4. Data sources

We collect data:

• directly from the user during registration, profile editing or portal use,
• from sports activities, matches, leagues and tournaments entered by the user or another authorized user,
• from technical and security systems when necessary for portal operation,
• from contracted service providers when necessary for sign-in, hosting, storage, payments or sending system messages.

5. Purposes and legal bases

We process data for the following purposes:

5.1 Providing the service

• creating and managing accounts,
• enabling sign-in and use of the portal,
• displaying profiles, matches, results, statistics, leagues and tournaments,
• calculating ratings, rating history and other sports metrics,
• operating notifications, feed, following and other features.

5.5 Consent

Where a specific feature or display requires consent, data is processed on the basis of consent, which may be withdrawn where legally and technically possible.

We may also use data to send system and user notifications related to account and platform operation, including email notifications, in-portal notifications and, if introduced, push notifications.

6. Visibility of data within the portal

Delpa App is a community-based sports platform. Part of the data is intentionally visible to other registered Delpa App users to the extent necessary for profiles, matches, leagues, tournaments, statistics, feed and other core platform features to work as intended.

7. Matches, results, statistics, rating and rating history

Delpa App processes sports data for recording activity, showing player progress, organizing competitions and maintaining community transparency.

• rating and rating changes over time,
• personal and comparative statistics,
• leaderboards, scouting views, form, progress and historical views,
• data about playing against different types of opponents,
• league and tournament records and rankings.

8. Leagues, tournaments, match images and other user content

If a user participates in a league or tournament, the portal may display their participation, schedule, results, progression, bracket, match order, placements and other related sports data.

If a user uploads a match image or publishes other content, it may be displayed in connection with an activity, match, profile, league, tournament or feed.

9. Recipients and processors

Personal data may be accessed by:

• authorized persons of the controller,
• other registered users to the extent necessary for service functionality,
• contracted processors providing technical or support services.

This may include providers of:

• hosting and infrastructure,
• file and image storage,
• authentication,
• system email delivery,
• payment processing, including Stripe,
• security monitoring and technical diagnostics.

10. Transfers outside the EEA

If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area through a specific infrastructure or processor, such transfer is carried out only on an appropriate legal basis and with adequate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or another suitable GDPR mechanism.

11. Data retention

We retain data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for delivering the service, maintaining sports records, ensuring security, enforcing or defending legal claims and meeting legal obligations.

• sports records, results and related entries: possibly longer where needed for integrity of statistics, leagues, tournaments or other sports views,
• accounting and tax data: as required by law,
• security and technical logs: as reasonably necessary for security.

The right to erasure is not absolute. Certain sports, historical or system records may be retained in a limited scope or anonymized form where necessary for the integrity of statistics, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, legal claims or legal compliance.

12. User rights

Under GDPR, where the conditions are met, users may have the right to:

13. Younger users

Delpa App is not intended for independent use by persons under 16 years of age without appropriate consent from a legal guardian.

Certain ratings, statistics, leaders views and other sports insights may be generated automatically based on match data and other sports records.
